Norman & Company was established in 1919 by Mr Norman Riddle the company specialised in supplying Haberdashery and Smallwares and were then based in London.

Upon Mr Norman's retirement the company changed hands to a Mr Harris who ran the company from Essex.

Corinne Sharpling was employed by Mr Harris who offered her the opportunity to buy the company on his retirement in the late 1970's. Corinne and Gary Sharpling then bought the company and are now Directors.

They now run the company from Canvey Island in Essex with their daughter Bonnie who is now also a Director.

Their aim is to continue to supply in volume Haberdashery, Lingerie accessories and dressmaking products to the wholesale trade.
